Just a few years ago, it would have been hard to imagine a padel court inside the paddock of a Formula 1 Grand Prix. Today, it is a reality.
For the 2026 Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, held at the brand-new MADRING circuit, Padel Tech was selected to design and install the two padel courts that became part of the event's official experience. The debut of Madrid's new Formula 1 circuit brought together teams, sponsors, guests, and thousands of fans for one of the most important sporting events of the year.

Two Tournament Courts Customized for MADRING
For such a unique occasion, Padel Tech installed two Tournament padel courts, our model specifically developed for professional competitions and major international events. Both courts were customized exclusively for MADRING with a design inspired by the Spanish flag, incorporating red and yellow details into different structural elements to match the visual identity of the Spanish Grand Prix. The result was a one-of-a-kind installation created for an environment where innovation, engineering, and performance are at the heart of everything, both on and off the court.
Padel Becomes a Meeting Point at the Spanish Grand Prix
Throughout the weekend, Padel Tech's courts hosted matches and exhibition games featuring some of Spain's most iconic sports personalities. Among those who stepped onto the courts were Raúl González, Iker Casillas, David Silva, and Carlos Moyá, together with other guests from the worlds of sport and motorsport, turning the venue into one of the most vibrant meeting points inside the paddock. Their presence highlighted padel's unique ability to bring together people from different sporting backgrounds while reinforcing its position as one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
